Taking reasonable precautions means taking crucial measures to prevent harm or damage from affecting the insured item. For example, keeping your vehicle roadworthy and/or your possessions safe. You must take all reasonable precautions to prevent or minimise loss or damage, liability, bodily injury, and accidents.
