By participating or attempting to participate in the Pineapple Black Friday and Cyber Monday Motor Insurance Special (the "Special"), you agree to be bound by these terms.

Pineapple Tech Pty Ltd (Pineapple) is offering a 20% discount on the monthly premiums of qualifying new motor insurance policies purchased during the specified promotional period, as listed below.

The Special is valid for the following period:

This Special is strictly applicable to new clients only who successfully purchase and activate a motor insurance policy with Pineapple within the Promotional Period specified above.

A "new client" is defined as an individual or entity that has not previously held a policy with Pineapple or someone who previously held a motor insurance policy with Pineapple over 60 calendar days prior to this promotional period.

Existing clients who cancel their current Pineapple policies with the intention of repurchasing a new policy to access this Special will be subject to a 60-day waiting period as per our standard Underwriting rules. This waiting period will commence from the date of the previous policy's cancellation. The purchase of a new policy during this 60-day period will be treated as a reinstatement of the prior policy with its same premiums and terms in place.

This Special is not available to existing Pineapple policyholders unless said policyholder is looking to add an additional vehicle(s) to their existing policy, or their existing policy is not a motor insurance policy.

The 20% discount will only be applied if the policy is successfully purchased within the Promotional Period. Merely obtaining a quotation or commencing the application process within the Promotional Period will not result in this Special being applied if the final purchase occurs outside of these dates.

Pineapple reserves the sole right to terminate the promotion on all quotes that have not been purchased yet, at any point, at its sole discretion.

The discount applies to all monthly premiums of the qualifying motor insurance policy only on the qualifying vehicle(s) insured during the promotional period. It does not extend to existing motor cover, non-motor policies or future policies or vehicles added outside of the promotional period as listed above.

This Special cannot be combined with any other offers, discounts, or promotions unless explicitly stated by Pineapple.

Pineapple reserves the absolute right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to modify, suspend, or terminate this Special at any time. In the event of termination of this Special, any policies already purchased and bound under this Special prior to the termination date will remain valid under the discounted rate for the duration of that policy.

Quotes obtained during this Promotional Period are only valid for the duration of this Promotional Period.

All policy purchases are subject to Pineapple’s standard underwriting criteria and general policy Terms and Conditions, which are available upon request. All policies purchased under this Special are subject to standard annual premium review.

This promotion is conducted in accordance with South African consumer protection laws.
